The site requires no account and no personal details. There is no newsletter, no contact form and we collect no email addresses.
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, the host automatically logs technical connection data: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and referrer. This serves solely to operate and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The site stores the following in your browser’s local storage. These are not tracking cookies and are never transmitted — they stay on your device and you can delete them in your browser settings. They are required for features you asked for, so they do not require consent.

If you click "Use my location", your browser will ask for permission. Without it, your location is not read. Coordinates are used solely to calculate distances to resorts and are sent to the OSRM routing service for that purpose. We do not store your location — neither on the server nor in your browser. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw in your browser settings.
The site uses the services below. Your browser connects to them, which transmits your IP address.
We use Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics. It runs in Consent Mode: until you give consent in the banner it sets no cookies and transmits no personal data — only anonymous, aggregated traffic information that cannot be linked to an individual. Once you consent, Google Analytics sets cookies and transfers data to Google, including outside the European Economic Area. On each resort page we also show a map — without your consent this is an OpenStreetMap that sets no cookies. Once you consent, we switch to an embedded Google Map, which is more convenient (satellite view, navigation) but sets its own Google cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer — the map switches back immediately. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); for anonymous data, legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IP anonymisation is enabled.
Each resort page includes links to Booking.com for accommodation and flights. We use the Travelpayouts affiliate network, which handles these links and credits us a commission on completed bookings — this does not affect the price you pay. The Travelpayouts script loads only after you consent in the cookie banner, at which point it sets its own cookies used to attribute the commission. Without consent the links still work and lead to Booking.com, just without this script. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The site links to resort websites, maps and search engines. Once you follow such a link, that site’s privacy policy applies — we have no control over what data it collects.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, object to and port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. As we operate no accounts and collect no contact details, in practice we hold no data that could identify you.
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
